Who We Are
Julie Ingriselli
Operations Lead
Julie is a Registered Early Childhood Educator who has worked with infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children predominantly in early learning settings and home-based care. Julie truly loves exploring and learning with young children and discovering new ways of thinking both in and out of the classroom. She is an advocate for outdoor learning, loose parts, and of course, the wonders of art and sensory playwork for children of all ages. Julie's other passions include being active, baking, travelling, and spending time with her family and kitty!
Julie also maintains a social media account dedicated to supporting and talking about educators' mental health and well-being.

Kirsten Treichel
RECE, Studio Facilitator
Kirsten Treichel is a Registered Early Childhood Educator who has been running creative, relational, and child-led programs for the past 15 years.
​
For five years she was an instructor with Roots of Empathy, an award-winning charitable organization that offers empathy-based programming for children in kindergarten through to grade 8. Kirsten has had the opportunity to deliver this program in a number of TDSB schools, including neighbourhood schools Frankland and Blake.
Kirsten completed her Early Childhood Education diploma in the Spring of 2020 and each year she participates in professional development courses including child development, developmental milestones, neuroscience, temperament, attachment and emotional regulation. Kirsten is also a graduate of York University and has also completed a number of art courses at OCAD, as well as regularly organizing collaborative art projects for a variety of community organizations.

Since 2015, Kirsten has been operating Cavell Avenue Preschool, continuing her creative, empathetic and inspiring work with children.
