Flexible Schedule

Mixed- Age Collaborative Learning

Our small group, calm and relaxed, laboratory-styled camp is designed to provide families and young children the time and space to create and learn through play. Our Camp focuses on:

 

1. Giving children the freedom to express their ideas within limits

2. Providing an empowering space for socializing and collaboration with peers

3. Lots of room to push boundaries, make errors and form new meanings.

 

Ages: 3.5 - 4 years - half day, 4- 7 years- full day

Time: Before care: 8:15-9:00am; After care: 3:00pm- 5:30pm ( these can be added at checkout) 

Half day 9:00am- 12:30pm; Full day: 9:00am- 3:00pm

​

Camp theme: YOUR CHILD. Nothing is worth our attention more than your child's wonders, curiosity and creativity. Similar to a weekly BIG idea, there will be different material & invitation each week (e.g. clay play, textiles art, printmaking,etc.)

 

Daily Rhthym: AM: Creating at the studio. Children will have snacks when needed PM: Outdoor excursions at Greenwood Park splash pad, Moncur Park, the ravine at Cairns Avenue Parkette, Woodbine Park, etc. Whenever possible, lunchtime will be spent outside, picnic style.

 

Camp activities include but are not limited to art & sensory exploration, Loose Parts investigation, outdoor adventures, risky play, gardening/ food preparation, and field-trip to local shops/ facilities ( pre- communicated with grownups).
